Some things I've made out of wood...

Everything you see here was designed and built (with hand tools, i.e. no electricity) by me, except where otherwise noted.

patchwork toolbox

Based on Toshio Odate's classic Japanese toolbox design, made with some reclaimed Western Red Cedar for the sides and various scraps elsewhere (baltic birch plywood, walnut, pine).

criss-cross stool

Bypassing wedged mortise and tenon joinery. Walnut frame. Seat woven from cotton shaker tape.

mini sawhorses

Adapted from a design by my teacher, Jay Van Arsdale. Made from Port Orford Cedar.

caro's bench

A bench for a small entryway. Made from cherry.

annie's nightstand box

A box for a nightstand. Made from poplar.

curvy shelf 4 cleaning supplies

A shelf with some curves (spokeshave fun). Made from douglas fir.
